Here it comes the new Scania LNG-powered truck. The new methane-powered engine by Scania has been thought for long range transport. As a matter of fact, the double tank solution can guarantee a 1.100 km autonomy. This vehicle allows us to contribute to environmental sustainability, thanks to the reduction of 35% of NOx and 95% of particulate matter compared to its relative Diesel-powered truck. The decrease in CO2 emissions reaches the 15%, but it can goes up to 90% when biogas is used. Moreover, a reduction in noise pollution has been documented.
In 2015, Scania Sweden multinational society chose to use Autotrasporti Rigotto Tiziano as the exclusive Italian ambassador to carry out projects relative to the new Scania Next Generation. The new and highly innovative model was systematically road tested with particular focus on the truck suspension and frame. For 2 years, the business engaged its own resources, especially designated to carry out this project. The results obtained allowed Scania to bring numerous improvements, especially in terms of road grip and drive comfort. In view of this important contribution, our activity has been awarded with a commendation; a reason of personal and professional pride, not only for Tiziano himself, but also for all the people that work and collaborate with him.
